On this July 4th 2007, it becomes a unique milestone in American history. 231 years ago, the Declaration of Independence was signed. It is somehow paradoxical, that the same reasons used for "dissolving the political bands" with Britain is now being carried out by the President. This accusation was levied by a leading American TV host, Keith Olbermann, who reflects on the recent history of the Republic, parts of which, almost sounding like a passage in the Declaration of Independence.
