USA slates FIRCA over Fiji Water

The US State Department today entered the fray between Natural Waters of Viti Ltd (bottlers of Fiji Water) and the Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority after FIRCA blocked exports of Fiji Water citing inconsistency in terms of the value of water being exported.

    Its about time the people of Fiji realized that they were being raped of their natural resources. The people of Fiji should benefit from one of the most successful export product that has ever originated from the country. Fiji water has become maybe the number one selling bottled water in the world, its amazing that that they would claim to be losing money.

    Recently, they made a big deal about having a "carbon neutral" footprint. How about some fair trade?

    What a surprise, the US government stepping in to protect a US entity that is ripping off another countries resources. I wonder what the IRS in the US would do if the situation was reversed.
