Rings of mud within the transparency of Fiji Governance.
Everyone agrees on amending the Amnesty provisions but Qarase. Power hunger seems to be the main common characteristics in S.D.L Ministers.
Acorns don't fall far from the tree that bears them.
Fiji Independence Day creates the occasion to reflect back on many things that affect Fiji citizens.
Sometimes the story, an official Fiji representatives gives to the U.N is not the entire picture of reality.
Precisely, what STUCK IN FIJI MUD looks for!

Time for honest reflection in Fiji.
Fiji's Public Service is being hampered by the Telecommunications monopoly.
The issue of living wages and performance based renumeration in Fiji will have to re-visited.
So will the issue of the controversial R.T.U Bill. Along with the interference of Political players in independent state entities like the Electoral office.
The same kind of interference orchestrated by Methodist Church of Fiji.

Fiji - Days of Thunder.
Public Service Comission keep screwing their public image up, by this idiotic waste of tax dollars by ordering staff to abandon their post and attend the much touted Reconciliation march.
There other cheaper avenues to promote Reconciliation. The concept of business as usual is an alien concept, to born slackers!
The age old concept of urbanization and urban migration is still felt in Fiji.
F.E.A strikes still looms due to the lack of consultations by state owned companies.
Qarase's affirmative Action programs has produced alarming results.
The legal issue of Architect's Intellectual Property surfaces in the construction of the Fiji Chief's grand facade of a building.

Reports of corruption within Fiji Government is a reflection on the leadership within the organization.
Qarase demonstrates his obsolete perspective on the native institutions of abuse, who have been de-franchising the social mobility of commoners.

Qarase's last straw for redemption.
Fiji Electricity Authority is facing an upcoming Union strike that has been already declared illegal by the Ministry of Labor, despite following all the legal procedures. This Minister, a former unionist himself is
a deceptive change coat.
Ba villagers on the west coast of Fiji's main island are in an uproar due to the G.C.C and provincial councils support of the controversial R.T.U without in-depth consultations with them. There is a fishy connection between staff at Fiji Electoral Commission and the P.M's office, which basically has budgetary control over the independent Commission, which should be rectified.
That is the state of democracy in Fiji's rural areas, who have been perpetually hoodwinked by successive Politicians.
True independence requires, independent offices to maintain financial control. Not live on hand outs by Politicians!
Fiji Police commissioner of changing the force into a modern entity, if it means throwing out dead enders. Fiji divisive issue of land is dissected by Fiji Island Business article.

Fiji's archaic policy of chained social mobility.
Fiji Electricty Authority is in deep industrial shitafter, Unions talks break down.
Memebrs of Parliament's accounts should be audited on an even standard across the board.
Chaudary lambasts the supporters of the eradication of the ALTA provisions in Fiji's Land Bills.
This construction firm in Fiji, has reaped the rewards of conroversial decisions by Fiji Government.
Qarase shows his entrenced mindset of insidious proportions, detrimental to the quality of life in Fiji.
Even the Fiji Police Commissioner of taking legal action against his own Ministry of Home Affairs due to their disagreement of finances.
Registration for Fiji's upcoming elections is viewed as a comedy of errors, that must be re-done.
The question of amending the constitution to maintain the social stautus of chiefs is idiotic. Changes must not be done at the expense of transparency and good governance in Fiji.
Fiji's is breaking new frontiers, with Fiji's first true Wi-Fi network, although years late.

Ingrained state of cronyism in Fiji.
The political party S.D.L has failed miserably in Government, despite their state- funded P.R. Not mentioning the ingrained scam culture. Or bullying from these cronies in Power positions of Fiji Government and Public Service Commission.
Objections to the Amnesty clause in the proposed R.T.U Bill is still mounting.
Fiji Reserve Bank must be bonkers if they think the proverbial cap in hand approach is going to change the Global supply and demand equation.
Welcome to the Captilistic society, Reserve Bank- no more handouts or I.O.U's.
There are discussions in the works to revamp Fiji's historical Sandalwood trade. More scruntiny and oversight mechanisms are required, in the interim.
Fiji Electricity Authority is gearing up for the strikes by the unions.
I also suggest for F.E.A to start collecting the $F52 million Landowners compensation too, before that double whammy hits them in the financial blindside.

It is apparent, that P.S.C has no idea of the extent of institutional corruption within their own ranks.
Fiji Police Commissioner says Churches need to be assertive in preaching to the indigenous Fiji youths who are leading the statistics of criminal offending. In addition to resisting the demands of civilian power brokers who want financial control to the Police Force.

Fiji Times Editorial Cowardice- Bad influences for the character of the community.
Army Commander says the gloves come off with the Methodist Church of Fiji.
I salute his stance, time that more people with backbones stand up for integrity in Fiji.
The Fiji Times Editor takes a
bias and cowardly stance on the matter, because the editor is a patron of the church. It is certainely within his authority of the Commander, to choose
a religous organization that benefits his team's interest.
G.C.C has the cure for AIDS? If not,
refrain from comenting on the matter, because the entire decision making
functions is duplicating the Fiji Government. More erronous justification for G.C.C's obsolete existence.
Finance Ministry's grand plans of revitalizing the rural areas is piece meal-deluxe. Realistically, Fiji needs a pragmatic and revoutionary approach not text-book lip-service by white-collar experts.
Ministry of Health is getting the run around by the Ministry of Works. If both can't do the job, out source. I just don't get
the bureacratic mentality in the entire civil service. Fiji Police Commisioner has set
his new priority of changing mindsets in the force.

Down side of Fiji Politics.
Australian Foreign Minister is quite experienced in giving false promises. For sure, the Fiji Garment industry is dying a slow death and Australian authorities are not overly concerned, simply because China easily under-cuts Fiji prices.
Fiji Electricity Authority is absurd if they think Landowners would be open to their crooked way of dealing.
Yet Qarase's speech at the United Nations General Assembly demonstrates his shifty political rhetoric in Indigenous Rights applications in Fiji.
Public Service Commission C.E.O is more concerned about the Nurses strike than transparency in dealing with public funds.
Fiji's has a role in the new Pacific region Satellite services. This does not mean, that monoploy status enjoyed by Fiji T.V should be become permanent. Copyright enforcement on infringements must be done by a specialised Government agency. It's obvious that, Fiji Police are more equipped to deal with old-fashioned crime.

Fiji's Domino theory of Chained Development.
Australian Foreign Minister, Architect and thief of East Timor Oil, should be more concerned about intrusive comments on domestic matters. These imperialistic type of posturing by Australia is definately hypercritical.
Qarase ready to defend the state's reaction to the floods. As well as other inconsistencies in the land and sugar issues.
These overseas experts brokered by the Fiji Government is a dubious a way to justify the controversial R.T.U Bill. Even though, Fiji's economic position is terrible.
Traditional Fijian Music and culture competition is another of those Non-Government initiative programs, that Fiji will benefit greatly from.

The lack of Corporate responsibility in Fiji.
Alarming statistics on religious sacrilege is glossed over by Fiji Government, despite continuing their lip service of adhering to human rights at the United Nations by Qarase.
Fiji P.M, admits the need for Labour Party support in changing Laws. Fiji floods puts the spotlight on meteorology office performance.
Monasavu case in Supreme Court dispatches indicate a greater campaign of abuse by Fiji Government. Basically Fiji Electricity Authority thinks it can seize land for it's own purposes, with compensating people.
Fiji does not have eminent domain legislations. If it did, those laws don't apply to Native owned lands.
Another simmering land dispute in the much publicised Yaqara Group's Studio Project, which is riddled with underhand dealings at the expense of the landowner.
Fiji Minister of Industrial relations comments indicate the serious need to further his education in Governance.

Muddy influence of cronyism in Fiji.
The Monasavu case the Lawyers for the victimized landowners fire their opening salvo, in the F$52 million Law suit.
Isireli Fa the Principal Lawyer is being summoned as a witness to the double dealing by Fiji government.
Even the so called Fiji experts in commerce need a Consultant for a corporate overhaul.
It also questions the very abilities of those in Government finance positions. C'mon that's your job the consultant is doing. Like the Peter Principle, these buffoons justify their incompetance by shifting the blame to another scape goat of inefficiency in Fiji, the board of Directors.
This consultant should also access the Fijian framework of Provincial councils. And report in detail, the extent of the mess there too.
Tuinavitilevu chiefly post is to be filled by the son of the dearly departed chief. A serious flaw in the handing over process of the reigns, which goes against the grain of Viti culture.
In the wake of this new Employment Relations Bill, another strike notice is issued by the Fiji Electricity Authority unions.
There are 4 different Employee catergories in F.E.A. They are: Unestablished staff, Established staff, Senior staff and Executive staff. The first strike notice was from a union repesenting a portion of the unestablished staff. This new strike notice has the backing of the Staff Union.
Strikes are besides the bigger problems, like Fiji's pathetic economic position driven by unrealistic policies by Qarase.
The proposed cross-media ownership in Fiji will bring up serious questions of audience market segments and defining local content in advertising, as well in broadcast media. These are issues that affect everyone in Fiji.
According to the Fiji Government officials Freedom of Information Laws are in the proverbial pipeline.!Yeah, so is my million dollar check
