2008 IRB San Diego 7s: A Smack-Down In Waiting?




A television promo for the only international Rugby tournament in North America.



The IRB 7s is a jet-setting Grand Prix circuit where 16 nations meet in exciting locations like Dubai, South Africa, Wellington, USA, Hong Kong, Australia, England and Scotland. New Zealand currently tops the points table, followed by Fiji.



San Diego seems to be the venue where Fiji hopes to regain its form, following back to back losses in Dubai and Wellington legs respectively.

Fiji Times Rugby blog posed the question to readers, of whether Fiji can make the top 8 after a disappointing outing in Wellington.



Blog: Paki's Corner has already touted New Zealand as the unbeaten team in his latest post. But, as last weekend's Super bowl demonstrated that, the unbeaten (18-0)New England Patriots were in fact beatable; using the same logic NZ is the team to beat.
