KABOBfest: Will Fiji Soon Be Out of the Coalition of the Willing?

KABOBfest: Will Fiji Soon Be Out of the Coalition of the Willing?
This take on the other externalities facing the nation of Fiji and the often abused ideals of democracy used by Western nations.

U.N Secretary General's take on the situation in Fiji, did not have the warnings of ramifications that was covered by this article by New Zealand Herald.

  1. Well, Helen...

What a load of crap in my humble opinion.

We're not talking about a military coup here, we're looking at a military man who wants to protect the constitution he is no-doubt sworn to uphold. It is the the PM and his band who are have broken the oath of office and are codling those who were responisible for a very real coup. In true Orwellian fashion, words are being used to mean their opposite.

Reading in depth what each party has acutally said (not merely reported to have said), it is obvious that the PM is one who is not dealing honestly.

As a US Citizen (now in exile) I only wish more of our military men had the spine to tell the politicians who are abrogating our Constitution to back off.

Those with an economic interest will usually go along to get along no matter how bad the corruption. When men of integrity stand up is when we find out who really believes in righteousness and who just cares about their own comfort and self interest. Qarase needs to get real and put the interests of Fiji first.

(I also wish I had a choice about hearing Shaggy - or any other music - every time I visit this blog). :-O but it isn't my blog so I'm not making demands ;^)
